Werner Heisenberg could have met both Jacques Piccard and Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel.
How to play
The cards
- Overlap: did the two exist at the same time? A book or an invention lasts once it appears; an event counts only in its own year.
- Distance: is the first nearer to the second, or to us? A person counts from their birth.
- Compound: TRUE only when both halves hold.
- Every card has its own clock. Run out and it scores nothing, but the answer still shows.
The score
- A right call scores, and a streak of right calls scores more.
- A wrong call resets the streak.
- After every card, the real dates open on a timeline drawn to scale.
